During this last week of summer I painted out at the  old Historical  Kirkland House in Ladner, BC.  The gardens and the grasses all looked so tired and dusty!  I wandered around the grounds and discovered this old, glass greenhouse at the back of the property.  I was captured by the colours and shapes!  I took pictures, did a sketch and then just started.
