Grandma's youngest sister, Lillian use to visit Vancouver and when she did she brought fun and adventure with her!  In this painting, Auntie Lillian has taken my 6 year old mother, Susan  and her 4 year old sister, Barbara to Spanish Banks for a day in the sun and sand.  They would have traveled by streetcar fromMarpole to the beach.  Looking back at this picture now I wonder if they would have wanted to know there futures.

This painting will be carefully shipped in box.
